One of things I appreciate the most about Oxbow Simple Rewards Baked Treats is their size.  They are perfectly bite-sized, which makes nibbling a breeze.  I can hold one between my paws and nibble away to my heart's content.  These also come in a variety of flavors, I am simply in love with the apple banana and carrot dill flavor.  My sister, Ruffles, loves them all.  Typical, she loves everything!

Another fantastic feature of these treats is that they are baked, not just loaded with artificial stuff.  Who likes artificial anything? And I like that they don't have any added sugars since I'm trying to watch my piggie figure!

I should also mention that these treat bags are resealable, which my human really loves so they stay fresh and crunchy.  Sometimes my humans takes too long to open these and I let them know with a loud wheek.  Which I'm certain they understand means hurry up as my patience is not my strong suit!  I can't help myself, they are simply irresistible!

Every morning, my humans bring me a colorful assortment of fresh leafy greens galore! I'm not a fan of too many other veggies but my humans keep trying to coerce me into trying a smorgasbord of delectable delights surely to entice my sister, Ruffles.  Have they forgotten who they're feeding?  As the adorable protagonist in this tale, my eyes sparkle with excitement as I ponder which delicacy to savor first. My little nose twitches with curiosity, and my tiny paws drum eagerly on the floor. But where do I begin? So many choices! Let's start with the arugula. Ah, pure bliss!  As for the rest of the veggies, Ruffles may have them! She's over here wheeking with excitement as I have so lovingly turned my nose away from them so that she may enjoy her culinary array.

Chapter 2: Hay Hay Hooray!

What's that delightful fragrance filling the air? It's haytime! Woot Woot! My humans provide me with the finest hay known to guinea pigs. I delicately dig into the pile, pulling out the perfect piece like I'm pulling the sword from the stone.  As I pull up my pigloo into just the right spot where I can lay down and keep eating, I look over at my sister and she is diving into the fluffy pile, tunneling through it, and creating secret pathways to explore. Too much work for me.  As I lay here nibbling on hay, my teeth are getting the perfect workout, and my tummy rumbles with joy. Hay is not just food; it's an adventure!

Chapter 3: The Mystery of the Treat Ball

One day, my humans presented me with a peculiar object – a treat ball. Curious as ever, I approached it, and lo and behold, it was filled with tiny, crunchy treats. But there was a catch; I had to figure out how to get them out. Challenge accepted! I rolled, pushed, and nibbled the ball until it surrendered its precious treasure. Victory never tasted so sweet!  That nap afterward was the best 10 min of my life.

Chapter 4: The Great Herb Odyssey

My culinary voyage expanded to explore the world of herbs. My humans introduced me to mint, parsley, cilantro, and basil. Each had a unique flavor, and my taste buds danced with delight. The aromatic herbs also make my habitat smell lovely, turning it into a relaxing sanctuary.  I can't help but popcorn with excitement every time my human rustles that bag of "salad".  Silly human, I can't get enough of this stuff.  Salad? I don't even like "salad", but this stuff? Yes please!

Chapter 5: A Fruitful Adventure

Beyond veggies and herbs, my humans surprised me with a taste of fruit. Though we guinea pigs should only have fruit in moderation due to its high sugar content, a little treat never hurts. A small slice of apple or a raspberry now and then feels like a delightful indulgence.  Once again, they have forgotten who they are feeding.  Fruit? Why? Personally, I just don't see the appeal.  A couple of orange flavored Vitamin C drops and I am satiated.  Again, Ruffles reaps all the rewards of this culinary battle.  (Secretly I like to lick the watermelon, melon, apple, and pineapple but don't tell Ruffles).

Chapter 6: Kitchen Shenanigans

Sometimes, my humans let me explore the kitchen under their watchful eyes. I can't resist peeking into the refrigerator and witnessing the colorful display of vegetables and fruits. I always feel like a true gourmet chef inspecting my ingredients before the meal preparation begins.
